Providing Hope
40 years ago, Church on the street was birthed by Pastor Walt Rattray in Phoenix, Arizona. What began with a few outreaches and 3 houses for the homeless has now grown into a multi-state discipleship program that impacts hundreds of thousands of people every year.
Answering the Call
We take individuals straight off the streets, out of rehabs, fresh out of jail, or in some other desperate situation and help them rebuild their lives through Jesus Christ. Our discipleship program offers a Christian-based residential recovery plan that is completely free. We help broken and hurt people overcome life-controlling issues and addictions and love others as Jesus loves them.
Honoring the Great Commission
Additionally, an important part of our discipleship program is our daily outreaches into the community where we offer food, clothing, and the message of Jesus Christ.
We believe that part of the healing our disciples experience comes as they minister to the needs of others.
